Mamadou Kwidjim Toure, inspired by his ancestors’ wisdom, believes in co-creating a better world through diversity and equal access to opportunities.
He founded Africa 2.0, a pan-African civil society organization, to drive Africa’s transformation and later established Ubuntu Group to launch socio-economic projects across the continent. Recognized by Forbes as one of Africa’s top 10 most influential men in 2014, Mamadou’s recent venture, Ubuntu Tribe, promotes financial inclusion through the tokenization of gold.
With over 20 years of experience in global finance, including roles at KPMG, BNP Paribas, and General Electric, he has led projects worth over $25 billion in Africa.
A blockchain pioneer, he was listed among the top 30 most influential in the space in 2020. Mamadou holds an MSc in Finance from EDHEC Business School and has completed programs at Harvard Kennedy School and MIT.
