Where will the event be?

The venue will be the DHL Stadium (also known as the Green Point Stadium). The address is Fritz Sonnenberg Rd, Green Point, Cape Town, 8051. Please find more information about the venue here.

What types of tickets are available?

There will be a variety of tickets available. The Super Early Adopter General Access Tickets will open on 1 March 2024. You can view the ticket types here.

How do I register for the event?

What is the cost of attending the event?

The cost of attending the event varies depending on the type of ticket you choose. You can view the different ticket types and pricing here.

What are the accepted payment methods for the event?

We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards as well as cryptocurrency.
These are: Bitcoin (BTC), Ripple (XRP), Ethereum (ETH), USD Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC).

Will there be discounts available for bulk purchases of tickets?

We offer the following discounts on bulk purchases of tickets:

3-5 tickets: SAVE 10%
6-10 tickets: SAVE 20%
11-19 tickets: SAVE 30%

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

Yes, you can. Email Quicket Support at support@quicket.co.za to assist you with the transfer of attendance information. Quicket is our official payment gateway and ticketing platform.

Can I benefit from a promotion if I’ve already bought a ticket? Am I eligible for a refund to cover the price difference?

Once a ticket is bought, the transaction is considered final, and any subsequent promotions are not applicable to previously purchased tickets. We do not offer refunds or price reductions for tickets purchased prior to the introduction of ticket promotions.

Will there be onsite registration available?

Onsite registration availability depends on the tickets sold prior to the event. It is not guaranteed that onsite registration will be available so it’s best to purchase your tickets beforehand to avoid any disappointment.

Will the event be online or in-person?

The event will be hosted as an in-person event in Cape Town, South Africa. The event will not be live-streamed.

What sponsorship opportunities exist?

A wide variety of sponsorship opportunities are available.

When will the speakers for the event be finalised?

The Call for Papers will open on 1 February 2024 and close by the 30 September 2024. The speaker slots will range from 15-30 minutes per speaker.

Will there be Wi-Fi available at the event venue?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi will be provided, but we can’t guarantee high-speed internet so we advise that you ensure that you are loaded with sufficient data.

Will food and beverages be provided at the event?

Tea and coffee will be provided to all attendees however canapés (festival bites) are exclusively included with VIP Tickets. If you would like to enjoy canapés without a VIP Ticket, a separate ticket option called the Cryptopian Gourmet Galaxy Ticket, is available for this purpose.

Is there a dress code for the event?

There is no dress code for the event but we suggest casual clothing.

Is there parking available at the event venue?

Ample undercover parking is available at the stadium for R45.00 per day. Please park at the West side of the stadium (in Fritz Sonnenberg Rd) at the entrance P1A and Parking level 01.

For VIP ticket holders and speakers, parking is complimentary so please make sure you collect a validated ticket at the registration area.

Will there be booths at the event?

Yes, there will be a limited number of physical booth opportunities available at the Crypto Fest.

How do I get a letter of invitation to attend Crypto Fest for my visa application?

Please email Nazley@bitcoinevents.co.za your request for an invitation letter, including your ticket for the Crypto Fest. Please note that we are not able to request an invitation letter without proof that you have bought a ticket for the event.

How do I claim my CPD points?

On the day of the event, please visit the registration desk and inquire about redeeming your CPD points. A QR code will be available for you to scan. You will earn 1 CPD point for each hour attended at the event.

Where can I redeem my CPD points?

When you scan the QR code at the event, our CPD provider, The CPD Group, will issue you a certificate and award you CPD credits.

What are CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points?

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points are a way of tracking and documenting the skills, knowledge, and experience that you gain both formally and informally beyond any initial training. These points are earned by participating in various professional development activities such as workshops, seminars, conferences, courses, and self-directed learning.
