Kamogelo Mosime is the Country Manager for Yellow Card Financial in South Africa, leading the company’s growth, banking partnerships, and regulatory strategy in one of Africa’s most important fintech markets. In this role, he oversees the expansion of Yellow Card’s operations, manages relationships with leading financial institutions and regulators, and drives strategic initiatives to strengthen the company’s position as Africa’s leading stablecoin payment infrastructure provider.
Kamo has played a pivotal role in advancing Yellow Card’s local banking integrations with major institutions such as African Bank, Standard Bank, Nedbank, and FNB, while spearheading collaborations with global payment service providers and exchanges including Ozow, CallPay, Peach, and VALR. He is deeply involved in ensuring compliance with South Africa’s evolving crypto regulatory framework, including CASP licensing and FIC audit preparations, and has led on critical projects such as Travel Rule compliance implementation and onboarding with the Payment Association of South Africa.
Prior to Yellow Card, Kamo built a career across corporate finance, investment management, and strategic growth, holding senior roles at firms including MEMP Group, D-Local, Tickmill, and Stanlib Asset Management. His experience spans revenue operations, corporate expansion, and global investments, with a strong track record of leading partnerships, structuring deals, and delivering sustainable growth in frontier markets.
Outside of Yellow Card, Kamo is an entrepreneur and investor. He runs ROHO Coffee, an artisanal South African coffee brand championing African-sourced beans and sustainable farming, and he is active in building the Dynamic Padel League, fostering community and sport across Cape Town. He is also passionate about automobiles, venture investing, and supporting African businesses with global ambition.
Educated at the Gordon Institute of Business Science and Monash University, Kamo combines a financial foundation with strategic execution and relationship-building across diverse industries. He is fluent in English, Setswana, Sesotho, and conversational Afrikaans, with ongoing studies in Portuguese.
