CEO and Co-Founder at Cr3dentialsElo Mukoro is the Founder and CEO of Cr3dentials, a verification protocol using zero-knowledge cryptography to help financial institutions verify identity, income, and reputation directly from online data sources in a privacy-preserving way.
With a background in chemical engineering, Elo transitioned into Web3 and AI after teaching himself to code and building products at major blockchain hackathons such as ETHDenver, where his team were finalists. His journey led him across global residencies in Berlin, Japan, and Nairobi, connecting with innovators reimagining financial infrastructure for emerging markets.
Before founding Cr3dentials, Elo worked with the Ethereum Foundation, supporting projects such as zkEmail, TLSNotary, and Semaphore. As a developer relations lead, he helped drive education, adoption, and community growth for zero-knowledge technologies globally.
At Cr3dentials, Elo is building the trust layer for global finance, enabling lenders, neobanks, and cross-border payment providers to verify users’ data and prevent counterparty risk in a secure, compliant, and decentralized way. His work focuses on bridging off-chain financial data with on-chain verification systems to unlock credit access and financial inclusion in emerging markets and beyond.
