Deven’s expertise in International Cards and Payments, backed by an expert qualification from the Lafferty Group, adds a unique perspective to his leadership. With a background in Architecture, Deven’s problem-solving skills amplify his strategic vision.
Deven also represents South African Retail on the VISA Inc CEMEA Merchant Advisory Council. Pick n Pay, the second-largest grocery retailer in South Africa, operates through various formats, including Supermarkets, Hypermarkets, Clothing & Liquor stores, across 8 African countries. VAS significantly contributes to the Group’s PBT and other income, with a wide network of partners offering diverse services, especially in banking, financial services, bill payments, mobile, social grant services, event ticketing, travel, sports betting and more.
