- Eligibility: By submitting this application, you affirm that you are the rightful creator and owner of the artworks being submitted for consideration. You must be at least 18 years of age or have obtained legal consent from a parent or guardian to participate.
- Artwork Submission: You may submit original artworks in the form of NFTs (non-fungible tokens) for consideration. By submitting your artworks, you grant the NFT Gallery permission to display, promote, and sell your artworks on the designated platform during the event. The gallery reserves the right to select or reject submitted artworks at its sole discretion.
- Ownership and Copyright: You retain full ownership and copyright of your artworks. The NFT Gallery will not claim any ownership rights over the submitted artworks. However, you grant the NFT Gallery a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display the artworks for promotional purposes related to the event.
- Sales: Bitcoin Events will not charge any commission on any sales of the NFTs before, during or after the event.
- Cost: The cost of participation in the NFT Gallery is: ZAR22,700 or USD1,260 (excluding vat).
- Promotion and Marketing: The artist acknowledges that the NFT Gallery may promote the event, the participating artists, and the artworks through various channels, including but not limited to the gallery’s website, social media, and press releases. The artist grants the gallery permission to use images and information related to the artworks for promotional purposes.
- Liability: The artist acknowledges that the NFT Gallery will take reasonable measures to protect the submitted artworks but assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage, theft, or technical issues that may occur during the event. It is the artist’s responsibility to ensure the integrity and security of their own digital artworks.
- Termination: The NFT Gallery reserves the right to terminate an artist’s participation in the event and remove their artworks from the platform if they violate any terms and conditions, engage in unethical behavior, or fail to comply with the gallery’s guidelines or instructions.
- Indemnification: The artist agrees to indemnify and hold the NFT Gallery, its organizers, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to the artist’s participation in the event or the sale of artworks.
- Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Republic of South Africa.
By submitting the application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions set forth by the NFT Gallery for participation in the event.
