Head of Liquidity and Trading at Yellow Card Financial

Zulekha Cara is a dynamic and accomplished entrepreneur with a diverse background in various industries. Her career journey has seen her make significant contributions to the financial services, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and cryptocurrency sectors.

She has been trading and mining cryptocurrencies since early 2016 and has been actively involved in both blockchain and cryptocurrency education initiatives and consulting.

Currently, Zulekha is the Head of Liquidity and Trading at Yellow Card. Zulekha is responsible for managing overall liquidity within the company as well as overseeing the market-making activities. She also leads a team of four amazing traders and they jointly manage all OTC trading activities across the 17 regions in which Yellow Card operates. Zulekha has contributed significantly to structuring the OTC team into the well-oiled machine it is today.

Zulekha holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management from the University of Cape Town.
