Ken Siva Lie
Software Developer at Svalbard.moneyKen Siva Lie, MSc, is a developer at svalbard.money.
Ken is a computer scientist from NTNU, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, graduating 2019. While in school he discovered crypto and saw the opportunities blockchain tech brought, as well as how limited the cryptocurrency offering was. Thus, in 2017, he and some friends started kaupang krypto, a cryptocurrency broker aiming to bring the technology to the Norwegian population.
In 2020, kaupang was acquired by Arcane Crypto, Norway’s largest crypto-company, which was in 2021 listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
Ken’s focus is on bridging the gap between traditional finance and crypto-finance, and when Morten Søberg, director for government relations at Sparebank 1 Gruppen, and on the supervisory board of the Norwegian central bank contacted kaupang with the opportunity to do something, we had to grab it.
