Established in 1685, the Constantia Wine Valley is the birthplace of South Africa’s wine industry and home to the legendary Klein Constantia’s Vin de Constance, one of the world’s most celebrated wines. Revered by kings and coveted by emperors, this exquisite dessert wine was famously enjoyed by Louis Philippe of France and cherished by Napoleon during his exile on St. Helena. Its sweet, luscious excellence has been immortalized in 19th-century literature.

Constantia is renowned for its diverse selection of unique, award-winning wines, nurtured by the cool sea breezes from False Bay.

Our tour features a curated selection of both iconic historic estates and modern boutique wineries, including Steenberg Wine Estate, Groot Constantia Wine Estate, and Constantia Glen Wine Estate.
