Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before applying for a discounted startup ticket at Crypto Fest: Cryptopia 2024. By submitting your application, you agree to comply with the following terms:
- Eligibility Criteria:
1.1. To be eligible for the discounted startup ticket, the applicant must represent a registered startup with a viable business model.
1.2. The startup must have been in operation for no more than three years from the date of application.
1.3. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. - Application Process:
2.1. All applications must be submitted via the official application form provided by Crypto Fest.
2.2. The information provided in the application must be accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
2.3. The application must include a detailed description of the startup’s objectives, products and services. - Startup Ticket Benefits:
3.1. The discounted startup ticket provides access to all events sessions, workshops, and networking events on the specified event date with the exception of access to the VIP designated areas and lounges.
3.2. The ticket includes admission for one (1) representative from the startup only. If an additional ticket is needed for another representative of the startup please stipulate this on the application form.
3.3. The discounted startup ticket does not cover any additional costs, including travel, accommodation, or meals. - Selection Process:
4.1. The selection of startups for the discounted ticket will be at the sole discretion of Crypto Fest’s organizing committee.
4.2. Successful applicants will be notified via email with instructions on how to proceed with ticket payment and registration. - Ticket Payment and Confirmation:
5.1. Startup representatives who receive an acceptance email must make the payment for the discounted startup ticket within the specified deadline to secure their attendance.
5.2. Failure to make payment within the designated period may result in the forfeiture of the discounted ticket offer.
6. Ticket Transfer and Refunds:
6.1. The discounted startup ticket is non-transferable and cannot be shared with or used by any other individual or organization. 6.2. Refunds for the discounted startup ticket will not be granted under any circumstances.
7. Code of Conduct:
7.1. Startup representatives must adhere to the event’s code of conduct and conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner throughout the conference.
7.2. Any violation of the code of conduct may result in the removal of the startup representative from the event premises without refund.
8. Liability:
8.1. Crypto Fest: Cryptopia 2024 and its organizers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience arising from the participation in the event.
8.2. Startup representatives are responsible for their own safety, personal belongings, and any expenses incurred during the event.
9. Amendments and Updates:
9.1. Crypto Fest reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
9.2. Applicants will be subject to the terms and conditions in effect at the time of their application.
10. Governing Law:
10.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
